The U.S. Army Unified Network: Space Solutions for Connectivity, Command and Control
GovMilSpace
Three years ago, the U.S. Army outlined its plans for Unified Network Operations (UNO), accelerating the Pentagon's digital transformation, enabling a global data exchange under a zero-trust security architecture, and supporting increasingly complex requirements for battlefield environments. This session will explore the role that space and satellite technology, including commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) technologies, plays and will continue to play in driving this transformation for the Army. Speakers will present real-world examples of the Unified Network's capabilities and benefits and outline its strategic importance and impact on global operations. The discussion will also include an overview of how industry collaboration helps overcome cybersecurity challenges for the network.
